The interdisciplinary team comprises of four successful European academic groups, two clinical groups and four SME’s, spread across six European countries. The project partners are international leaders in their fields and have a strong background in leading European and international grants, an extensive network of interdisciplinary collaborations and a solid track of delivery of high impact research, as well as experience in knowledge transfer to industry.

NUI Galway is one of Ireland’s foremost centers of academic excellence. Tissue Optics and Microcirculation Imaging (TOMI) Lab have developed techniques for structural and functional imaging of tissue to help understand many diseases. TOMI is a multidisciplinary multinational team of 14 members (4 female/10 male, currently) working on development of novel tissue and microcirculation imaging technologies.
